Be the author of your life story…

You are the main character, living inside of a story that is written by your brain. Everything you experience—all your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and memories—are a creation of your mind. Most people are living in a story that has been, to a large extent, written for them by their family of origin and the environment in which they grew up.

As long as your story remains written by others, you’re at the mercy of that story. Any toxic beliefs, trauma, shame, and abuse that is part of that story can become like a vice grip on your reality, leading to a constant struggle for survival.

The path to freedom lies in recognizing that you are the storyteller, and if there’s something about your story that you don’t like, you can change it. You can heal from trauma, shame, and toxic beliefs, and walk forward into a future that you craft on your own terms.

What is Spirit Work?

  • Healing

Spirit Work uses somatic and spiritual techniques to access psychic fractures, traumatic memories, and toxic beliefs. This allows rapid progress in coming to terms with, working through, and resolving trauma, shame, toxic beliefs, and associated issues like anxiety, depression, and addiction.

  • Change

Living the life of our dreams requires confronting the bad habits, obstacles, and other issues that stand between where we are and where we want to go. Spirit Work allows quick access to these obstacles, to reveal unconscious resistance and objections to change. Once identified, these obstacles can be worked through, resolved, and replaced with habits that help instead of hinder.

  • Manifestation

After healing and change work, it’s time to focus on manifestation. What are your goals, your dreams, the vision that you carry for your life? Spirit Work can help identify the steps and the path forward towards the life you’ve always wanted, so you can do whatever is necessary to ensure that your life story has a happy ending.

Micah Sloat, M.A.

I combined my master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology with ancient spiritual traditions, such as Peruvian Shamanism, British Traditional Witchcraft, and Hawaiian Shamanism, to create a unique, trauma-informed approach to personal change that I call Spirit Work.
